Another fabulous Riviera Owners Evening -Thursday 5th September
We got to meet the man behind ‘Fish Talk’ – Dave co-owner Hunting & Fishing North Shore. Together with his friends from Shimano, they shared ‘Where the fish are biting’ and ‘How to catch them’! With lots of goodies given away on the night – good fishing everyone!

- Smoked Kahawai Pate
- Rob’s specialty – ‘Ika Mata’ (raw fish)
- Thai Fish Cakes
- Mussel Fritters
This was followed by our guest Mr Jim Robertson, Global Wine Ambassador for Pernod Ricard who shared his recommendations and tasting notes to match the menu – from Church Road, GWEN Rose and GWEN Chardonnay was served and loved by all! We also learned how the name GWEN came about: Named in honour of Gwen, the influential wife of Tom McDonald, father of Church Road and pioneering winemaker.
A big thanx to Pernod Ricard for the very generous lucky spot prize on the night – a bottle of Mumm Champagne and 6 Mumm Champagne Glasses Congratulations to Catherine Honnor our winner on the night – enjoy!
