The Genesis 400 Flybridge is a nimble, easily pushed cruiser that enhances all the attributes of the smaller Genesis 360 but offers so much more.
This boat is as comfortable driving into a head-sea as it is tracking back down the swell, something we get plenty of on our coast. This is taken to another level on this vessel with her twin 300hp Yanmar engines driving four blade bronze Henley propellers on shafts, so you can say good-bye to stern leg maintenance.
On the subject of maintenance, the owner of this vessel has just had the vessel hauled out for Antifoul, Prop-speed, new anodes, and a hull polish so she’s good to go for the coming season. We are also advised that the first owner of this vessel was somewhat fastidious and insisted on a higher standard of timber fit out with all joinery.
On the run to our Westhaven Sales Arena where the vessel can be viewed we tested out all the boat Garmin navigational systems whilst achieving a very comfortable 22-25knt cruise which pushed out to just on 30 knots at full throttle with full water & 3/4 fuel load.
This vessel presents well and will make a great family coastal cruiser.
