A lovely modern launch with a hard top flybridge. Built in 2002 Sierra has been in the same family since 2006 and has had a few upgrades over the years. Most recently a full hull and deck repaint. The duckboard has new teak along with new bait boards.

The flybridge has new upholstery, fridge and captains chairs along with a new Furuno TZT3 16” and Airmar B260 transducer.
On the roof of the flybridge you will find 2 solar panels which help charge the house batteries, providing additional power. Satellite TV. A sound system with speakers in saloon and flybridge. Marine underwater LED lights installed, great for bait fishing in the evening. Fully operational galley with microwave oven, 4 gas hobs and gas oven.

Twin Cummins BT6 330hp cruise her comfortably at 18knots / 2000rpm. WOT approaching 25 knots.

2 double cabins and a full double on the converted saloon bed. This is achieved by the dining table lowering via a hydraulic ram and switch. Never a complaint has been had by people sleeping on that bed. Opposite the dining area is another pull out single bed if necessary. Comfortably  she sleeps 6 but overall can if needed sleep 8.

Two bathrooms, one interior bathroom, shower and electric toilet, one shower and electric toilet located in the cockpit. There is plenty of storage space under the cockpit where there is ample room for dive gear, swim ladder and tender (brand new a year ago) oars and motor etc. Fully game rigged along with game chair and 10 pack rocket launcher. Annual mains servicing and Antifoul and Propspeed completed in October 2024.

Overall Sierra is a beautiful 40 foot launch with everything you need for a family boat. Current owners have had great family holidays out to Great Barrier Island and plenty of game fishing, landing several marlin. Well recognised for her style and her success Sierra is now ready for the a new family and her next adventure.
