Riviera shines at Sanctuary Cove

A Standout 2025 Showing

At the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show 2025, Riviera delivered what they described as their largest, most spectacular display yet: 12 luxury motor yachts ranging from 43 to 78 feet, drawn from across their Motor Yacht, Sports Motor Yacht, Sport Yacht, SUV and other collections.

Two models premiered on the world stage: the nimble and versatile Riviera 4300 Sports Express, and the long-range luxury-oriented Riviera 72 Sports Motor Yacht Series II.

More than 2,000 owners, admirers and guests from Australia and overseas visited the stand over four days, underlining Riviera’s reach beyond its home market.

Lifestyle, Community & Owner-Focused Events

Riviera didn’t treat the boat show like a static display; the event was built around a full “lifestyle and community” experience for owners and potential buyers.

As part of the broader owner-oriented program, Riviera ran more than 30 seminars and hands-on workshops covering navigation, offshore seamanship, onboard systems, maintenance and safety.

Social events added a rich layer of conviviality, including a “Ladies Day” lunch for over 100 women owners, a private owners’ lounge with cocktails and live entertainment, and the highlight: “Songs in the Key of Riv.” Over three gala evenings, more than 500 Riviera owners and guests enjoyed three-course dinners, live music, fine dining and a floating-nightclub atmosphere on the marina.

The Riviera Festival of Boating saw over 30 seminars led by Riviera experts.

“Songs in the Key of Riv” — More Than a Gala

The gala event wasn’t just dinner and drinks; it embodied Riviera’s vision of a boating community:

  • Over 500 owners and guests attended the three-night event.

  • Each night featured premium three-course dining, live music, and a marina-side “floating nightclub” vibe on the owners’ lounge.

  • For many owners, it was as much about connection, catching up with friends, networking with other owners, and celebrating a shared passion as about the boats themselves.

For Kiwi boaties who often view yachting as more than a hobby, as a lifestyle, a social circle, a way to gather friends/family, and a chance to explore stunning offshore or coastal destinations, “Songs in the Key of Riv” is a vivid demonstration that yachting can be about community and celebration as much as it is about performance and design.
